Superb example of Yamaha's ground breaking GTS1000 hub centre steering sports tourer. This is probably the best GTS in the UK or possibly internationally because of upgrades to optimise the performance and handling. It comes with full Ohlins bespoke suspension front and rear, Brembo rear brake and front master cylinder. Note the wheels which have been chromatic powdercoated, as have other chassis parts in a less bright silver finish. The exhaust is a modified Akrapovic from a Thunderace, which takes both standard and Akrapovic end cans. The fuel injection has been tuned with staggered bellmouths and cool air induction. 120 rear wheel bhp, all smooth and progressive. Full original yamaha Krauser luggage option, powerbronze flip touring and original screens. Fitted with sat nav and auxilliary fan switch, this bike has beemn to the South of France and back last summer via Route Napoleon and Route des Grandes Alpes, plus long trips in the UK, all in superb comfort. Note the upgraded saddle. This bike also comes with all of the original Yamaha launch and opresenation folders as well as much GTS magazines and memorabilia. in addition, there are all of the original parts, should someone wish to return it to factory, plus many useful spares and service items. The mint original cat and headers are unicorns in themselves. The way this bike is set up it is considerably lighter, faster and better nadling and stopping than the already awesome bike Yamaha broke the mould with.
