For sale is my Mk2 golf gti 16v.
I Never thought I would sell this car after 12 years of ownership. However a new business venture has influenced this regrettable sale .
K311 UNH was registered new on 01-08-92 . So a very late registered mk2 . The K reg gets a lot of comments at shows .
The service history book suggests the car was first registered to VAG Uk and was sold to the first private owner on
22-12-92 a Mr Bruyn of Oxford
by Motorworld of Oxford having covered 8516 miles.
Mr Bruyn a retired military gentleman owned K311 UNH For 21 years taking great care and kept an impeccable service/ maintenance schedule throughout his ownership. 21 stamps in the service book all backed up by detailed receipts.
Just as importantly the car was garaged from new in an integral garage . This has clearly influenced the condition of the car today .
I took ownership in February 2103 with a mileage of 138. 600.
I to have always garaged the golf and over the last 12 years as a massive mk2 golf enthusiast have dedicated my spare time to show the car and improve to the standard we are at today . In 2016 the golf had some paintwork to correct blemishes from over the years . I must stress this was not a full respray as I was very keen to maintain as much original paint as possible.(they are only original once right) photo album to show the work at all stages.
The stand out fact with K311 UNH is the car has NEVER been welded !! 30 years of garaging and great care has provided a remarkable Mk2 golf free from corrosion. A rare find indeed.

Overall very special Mk2 golf GTI indeed which I know I can never replace but have enjoyed my ownership immensely.
