Description
Stunning Peugeot 106 Quiksilver with only 75k miles from new with MOT until October. 2 keys and HPI clear. Has been my pride and joy but the time has come to move onto another project. Extensive list of work carried out within the last 12 months/ 2k miles. Please see below.
-Oil, filter, air filter and 4x spark plugs replaced.
-Head gasket replaced- head skimmed and pressure tested.
-New head bolts and 4x injector O Ring seals when rebuilt.
-Oil and filter service and 1st coolant fuse after head replaced.
-Cambelt, waterpump and thermostat.
-4x brand new tyres.
-Alloys refurbished.
-Both rear trailing arm bushes/ bearings replaced.
-OSF brake caliper.
-NSF CV boot replaced.
-Rear silencer and centre pipe replaced (cat comes with the car)
-Door speakers upgraded to an OEM quality.
-Peugeot logo boot badge replaced.
-New alternator.
-Rear drum brakes stripped and rebuilt- all like new.
-NSF driveshaft oil seal- gearbox side.
-Gearbox oil change.
-Lambda sensor.
It is in very good condition for its age and has been a pleasure to own. The interior is also in excellent condition. As with all cars there are some things that need attention to finish it off:
-It needs a new CAT convertor- this comes with the car.
-Needs another coolant flush, I didn't have time to do a second one after the head gasket was replaced and coolant has gone murky again so needs another flush at least.
-Suspect it needs another temp sensor, as the cooling fan doesn't cut in until the temp gauge is higher up than it was, still runs and drives spot on and doesn't overheat, its just something I would get done if I had the time was I keeping the car. Looking for a quick and painless sale. Car is currently in a friends garage so isn't exposed to the elements but it needs to go as he is moving shortly.
