MK4 Golf GTi 1. 8t Petrol 25th Anniversary Edition No. 184 (1 of 300 in black)
I have owned this car for a short while and am selling as I swap my car often. This a stock anniversary edition (other than the Android Auto/ Apple Carplay headunit) with a massive service history.
In the time that I have owned it has had:
- a major service
- A replacement oil pickup as on these engines they can clog and kill it. Decided to get it replaced prematurely
- A new oil pan as part of the pickup replacement
- New centre caps
- Replaced odd visual items as they were damaged or worn out.
I also know this has had a timing belt, clutch and a number of other major items recently due to the service history. The previous owner took great care of this and has had the underside cleaned up and undersealed. But not in a spray the rust away type deal. Properly targeted cleaning and protection. There isn't rust spot anywhere to be seen.
Only bad points I can see are a couple of very small scuffs in the paint but that is sort of expected in a 22 year old car and the bolster on the drivers seat has started to go. It has not worn through the fabric yet so an easy repair.
