Description
1966 Spitfire 4 1147cc
White with red upholstery and a soft black top with a black top-down rain cover included.
This Spitfire, which has a history in London, underwent a meticulous five-year complete nuts and bolts restoration that concluded in 2019. The restoration was carried out to an exceptional standard by a retired Jaguar-Landrover engineer and included a powder-coated chassis. The engine with only 2000 miles is just run-in and completely reliable. It won the TSCC Concours Best Soft Top (2) Award in 2019. After being part of a renowned West Midlands collection, it was sold to me in 2020.
This Spitfire has only been run out locally in Kent and kept garaged.
This car is 100% concours with a current TSSC insurance valuation certificate of £24500 and a Heritage Certificate.
This is a truly beautiful car with a reliable, well-built engine. It is a rare example of the most sought-after Spitfire MK.
The price is competitive for a quick sale.
