As can be seen from its MOT history the car has had a small number of advisories and MOT failures since 2017, and in 2021 the third previous owner sought the help of specialist companies who have dealt with all known, and other visible underbody rust areas, replaced brake pipes, fuel pipes and suspension parts in order to erase all past advisories.
Invoices for this work are available.
These repairs and renewals can be verified from its last 3 yrs No Advisory MOT histories, which also support its nominal mileage since 2017.
This car was bought by owner no 4 in July 2022 to form part of a private collection and their original invoice from a very enthusiastic private seller for £12500 which forms part of this vehicles substantial & available history.
The car has covered nominal mileage since 2018 averaging less than 500 miles a year, but has been garaged and lovingly cared for during this time.
There is a large amount of invoices for servicing and maintenance over its lifetime totalling almost £15, 000 and relate to work carried out on the vehicle from 2005 to 2025.
The car also has a comprehensive service record of 15 services carried out by main dealer and specifically Jagutech in Hessle and recorded with the service book at mileages of 5800, 16, 200, 25962, 34760, 43087, 50581, 58200, 63942, 69094, 72932, 75728, 78221, 81207, 82826 and a very recent inspection at 83, 770 miles Feb 2025.
The current advisory free MOT expires January 2026.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy a really nice, facelift Jaguar XK8 4. 2 Convertible, considered by many purists to be the best looking version of the XK8.
This car offers quality open air motoring and certainly represents superb value for money, this is a car that you can use, have some great fun, and probably return a profit in future summer months.

Nationwide delivery can be arranged at additional cost. Having owned 17 jaguars including 3 XK8 -X100 versions I have been looking for a nice useable example of the same variant, and by chance stumbled across this stunning car.
Its unusual paint / hood combination stood out from the usual black or blue hood options and when I went to inspect the car it did not disappoint.
It drives really well, I’ve had a few small jobs completed and it is certainly an above average car and represents exceptional value compared to a number of facelift versions currently offered for sale.
Despite it being a recent purchase, typically like buses, an exceptional, low mileage version has appeared on the market over the weekend and although it’s a lot of money, it may represent a longer term Jaguar investment, although much less useable.
My car drives really well, and has had considerable investment over its lifetime with invoices in excess of £15, 000 available within its history, which is some comfort to have in these GDPR days.
It’s rare these days to find a decent facelift X100 with history for less than £10, 000, but any potential buyer can’t help take in the quality and general condition of this example.
Yes it’s had a bit of paintwork here and there over the yrs, but obviously done correctly, the roof is in great condition and operates as it should and it’s a car that can be used as a daily driver, or on summer and high days, and is unlikely to depreciate in the future, particularly if Jaguar Cars focus on exclusive electric / hybrid ranges in the future.
I’m open to sensible offers, but I think it represents great value by comparison.
