Saab 900 16V Turbo Aero.
Sold new at Schoefields in Auckland NZ in October 1985. The car had 2 owners to 1991 and one owner from 1991 to 2023. This gentleman maintained the car to the very highest standart you could imagine. Oilchange with ( original Saab filter) was done every 3000km, gearbox oil every 6000km. Everything written down in 2 folders of documentation, including date and part supplier.... in most cases the invoice is attached aswell. Most of the invoices from the 2 previous owners are present aswell. The original NZ registration papers from 1985 are also present.
The car comes in mostly original paint which is still in very nice condition. It shows absolute no signs of any welding or panel repair. The underside is as imsculate as the top of the car. All Aero skirts and bumbers are in very good condition with only minor marks on the front bumper. The 3 spoke Aero wheels are in good, clean, original condition.
The leather interior is presented in "Colorado red" and is in very well maintained condition. The rear seats are like new. The dashboard shows some of the typical cracks, so does the drivers door panel. The boot looks like new. The headlining has been replaced in the original material only a couple of years ago, including the sunroof.
The engine pulls very nice and runs absolut mint. The Turbo unit has been replaced only half a year ago with a rebuild original unit as the turbine housing was cracked.
The 5 speed manual gearbox shifts as you would expect it. The gearchange is very direct and smooth with very good synchromesh on all gears.
The suspension is in very good order aswell. As an original Aero the car has front and rear swaybars fitted which make it handle absolut great around the hills.
The car comes with fresh NZ warrant of fitness and 1 year of registration.
