1963 Austin-Healey 3000 Mark 2

Selling a 1963 Austin Healey 3000 BJ 7 model car that i have owned for almost 35 years. The car came from a southern state ( Kentucky ) and has been repainted and is in storage now. Prior to the respray it was used as a driver during the summer months. It was a rust free car and still has the original body panels which did not require any body work before the respray. The frame has been undercoated when new and still has 95% of the undercoating protecting the frame of the car. You can see the original factory frame paint in a few spots where the undercoating has peeled off. The car still has the original 2912 cc engine and the over drive transmission in the car. The engine has been started even recently as 2024 but the car has not been driven due to the car being in storage. The seats are original and are in good condition. some of the carpeting has been replaced with new carpeting. comes with a set of new michelin tires that have not been installed in the car as yet. The car is 100 % complete and comes with all the parts that were removed for the respray including the chrome parts some of which have been installed back in the car. The tail lamps and front side marker lights have been replaced with new period Lucas lights and lamps of the correct color. The car also will come with a new top and some trim pieces . The car will be ready for driving in a few weeks once it is taken out of storage and all the fluids have been changed. E mail if you have questions. I also found him a very good transportation company which he used for bringing the car to UK from my place here in the USA. I also had a buyer from France who came and saw this car in 2024 and sent an e mail stating the car was a very solid for a 63 year old car. I have other references both in UK and USA that i can forward to a interested buyer. I noticed that there were several BJ 7 Austin Healeys advertised for twice the price of this car on this site. I wanted to give a Healey enthusiast a chance to buy a decent Healey for a reasonable price, hence the low price. i can also provide a potential buyer with a reputable transportation company that can handle door to door service at a reasonable price that includes road transport and also container shipping to your destination.. This is my personal car and it drove very well during the time i was driving it. The engine ran very well and the transmission including the over drive shifted like it should. This is pretty much a rust free car and you can drive it without putting much effort into it. I intent to drive this car this summer if no one buys it before i take it out of storage in a few weeks.
