Description
Mk2 Ford Cortina Crayford 1600 convertible. It was owned by father since 1990 until he passed away in 2021 leaving the car to me. In his possession the car was regularly shown throughout the summer in the North Wales area. This car was one of 400 Crayford Cortina Mk2 convertibles made, based on the much rarer two-door Cortina shell, of which there are believed to be only 150 surviving according to the Crayford Convertible Club. The model was launched in October 1966 at the Motor Show. This one was made in 1969 and is in Midnight Blue with a black hood. The car is in very good condition has had no welding carried out on it ever. It even has the original hood, although the plastic rear window was replaced. It has a SS exhaust and a tow bar c/ w electrics. It is immaculate under the bonnet and inside is also very good. There is currently nothing that needs doing to it apart from recommissioning. it is a pleasure to drive and i have never personally seen another one.
