Description
For sale is my 1991 Honda NSX which I imported from Japan in September 2015 and have enjoyed and cherished since then. It has covered just under 66, 000 miles. It is in very good condition inside and out (please see the pictures) and has been very well maintained, both in terms of required servicing, preventative maintenance, and an ongoing program of refreshing parts to ensure it is in the best possible condition. The colour is Kaiser Silver, which is a little darker than the Silverstone Silver more often seen in Europe. It's a rare NSX colour, and I think it looks terrific; with the right light it almost has a mirror finish. It has the Japanese service book, together with two large folders of receipts for work done since I brought it to the UK. I have documentation for almost £30, 000 spent in my ownership. Routine servicing includes two major services (cambelt, water pump, etc), crank pulley, and of course all intermediate oil change services. Preventative maintenance performed is too much to mention here, but includes a top end engine refresh, gearbox refresh and new clutch carried out in summer 2019 (full picture book of the work performed provided). Other mechanical upgrades include a change to the later 2002+ NSX ABS system (much, much better) and a Japanese high-end RFY exhaust header (not the back box, so no drone or noise increase) which ever so slightly improves the engine character. I have refreshed many of the minor parts, including door seals, door trim pieces (plastic lugs can snap over time), etc. I have also addressed another common failure relating to the electronics, which is where the capacitors in the various control units can leak over time, resulting in electrical failures. Most control units (including the audio) have had this corrective work done, and everything works as it should. It has the later NSX (1995+) alloys as I prefer the look. Other than that it is very original - even the floor mats are the original 'NSX' branded items. There's probably lots I have forgotten but, if you are in the market for an NSX and you don't mind it not being red, then please get in touch for a chat.
