Full UK documentation and is even taxed and MOT'd at present.
The bike has been fitted with some more modern equipment including 12v electrics, alternator charging system, electronic ignition and Very expensive Australian ELECTRIC STARTER, which retains the kickstart mechanism and works brilliantly well. Mikuni carb and K&N filter. The Chief retains left hand throttle operation as it should!
NONE of the modifications made would prevent the bike being reverted to standard spec. if that is your thing! I have most of the original parts.
This Indian is not a showpiece it has been owned and ridden by me for 35 years.
It is approaching 78 years old and the patina of newness has worn off, revealing traces of its history.
The same thing has happened to me.
It runs and rides well and is sold as seen.
It is in very good solid unrestored condition.
If the bike remains unsold I will be taking it to the INTERNATIONAL INDIAN RALLY in DENMARK in July.
