If you know anything about P38’s, they are a modern classic and this one has been very well maintained and for its age, is exceptionally clean.
Unlike the majority of P38’s, this one is still on air and works perfectly.
This P38 has 140k miles and never misses a beat on LPG or petrol. MOT until 28/ 08/ 2025
This has been a personal car of ours for the last 2 years roughly and has been amazing to own.
In our ownership, the car has had a lot of work including:
New battery
New water pump and head gaskets both sides (pressure tested and skimmed also)
New iridium NGK spark plugs
New idler pulleys
New K&N performance air and oil filters with Valvoline 10-40W oil
No expense spared
New sump plug
New exhaust gaskets
New fuel filter
New thermostat
New Manifold gaskets
New boot struts
Previous to our ownership, it has had:
New rear exhaust boxes
New air bags on rear
Air Compressor and valve block reconditioned
LPG conversion with full size tank in spare wheel footwell
There are invoices for all work done while in our ownership as well as some of the left over parts when the top end of the engine was rebuilt (brown box in the boot of the car).
I have also purchased an aftermarket unit that allows Bluetooth connectivity and will play music, make calls and use maps/ navigation via Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay through the original stereo as well as a reversing camera.
It is also know on these cars that the headlining sags which has been addressed in this one after being recovered with new material not utilising the same foam backing them perishes like when it came from factory meaning it will not sag again.
