Description

I have made the difficult choice to sell my beloved Triumph Vitesse, it’s had its engine rebuilt by park engineering in malton which included the unleaded conversion to run on E5 petrol, I have rebuilt the gearbox myself in the workshop at home, and it starts and drives lovely. Just how a vitesse should. Among other original parts reconditioned the car is completely original; how it left the factory.
I am looking at offers around £9000 for her as I have paperwork right from the bill of sale back in 1967 upto the steering rack being reconditioned just last year. It’s been parked up since as costs are too much for me to hang onto her. As the saying goes “you can’t keep em all” As I’ve said offers around the £9k mark given my recent research on ones that have sold in the past year and the cars that are for sale at the moment.
The car is in completely original condition barring the engine rebuild, so please don't expect her to be completely perfect and restored, she isn't. she does however have incredible patina to her she polishes up really well considering the paintwork is nearly 60 years old. It has had some minor welding done before i got her in the boot area and around the diff on the chassis but i have had it inspected by a reputable garage near to home and they have said she is sound underneath, no rot to be worried about. Obviously there is some minor surface rust underneath but nothing a weekends wire brushing wouldn't sort out and of course a tin of waxoil for afters! All 5 tyres are brand new, 4 of them having only covered about 6/ 700 miles!
the pictures i have put on are from the past years i have owned her, my best advice is come and arrange a viewing to have a good detailed look over her with a good chat and cup of tea of course and obviously a test drive given the correct insurance.
here is a video i recorded the week i got her. i must add this was before the new tyres and engine rebuild. - details above
Thank you for reading, Ben. i am the 3rd family to own her from new.
i bought it as i was after something British and i fell in love with the design and the beautiful sound the straight 6 makes
its incredible original condition also made me buy it along with the incredible amount of history that came with it.
