Description
Triumph gt6 mk3, first registered 1973. Originally mimosa yellow, now black. Bought with no history but believe it was restored early 2010’s and lived in Suffolk, then sat in a garage for a time before being bought by car dealer near Cambridge where it was bought from. Owned for few years now, many thousands of miles and smiles covered and no doubt the car would do it all again, many parts upgraded since I have owned it. Insurance valuation is £14, 600.
Startup video and walk around link should be visible or msg and I can send it.
- details above
Inside is tidy and very presentable has been looked after. Tracker fitted, immobiliser and disklok comes with it.
Notable parts fitted in the last few years; windscreen and seals, drop glass both sides, all brake lines front to rear, trunnions and vert links, front wheel bearings, mintex pads, alternator, elec ignition dizzy leads plugs, polybushed all round, new rear shocks, stainless wheel nuts, new exhaust and back box, led headlight conversion. More bits than this but not exhaustive list.
If I was keeping it would change the rear UJ’s soon as they have a little play - i have new gkn UJ spares to go with the car.
The diff on this car is silent and the gearbox has the usual 3/ 4 gear triumph whine - hasn’t gotten any louder since I have owned it.
It has working overdrive on 3rd and 4th gear.
Horn doesn’t work, found the fuse blown last year I haven’t got round to finding out why. Sure it’s an easy fix for someone who has the time.
The original seats in good condition with spare runners will go with the car. The corbeau ones currently in it will unbolt easily, I find them much more comfortable + have headrests.
Bank transfer only, sold as is as 50 years old and becoming a rare classic, designed by Michelotti. £11500 ono. Please message for more info on parts and a video.
