GLO 393C. 1965 chassis number 74
Have owned GLO for several years and have renewed and restored it over this time period. Work was stalled for a few years as house move from wales to the southwest saw car placed in storage.

Car completely dismantled.
Chassis had repairs as required and was galvanised.
Body again had any knocks scrapes repaired and re sprayed back to Down White the colour it left the factory in.
Fully functional full Tudor fabric sunroof with correct wind deflector.
All parts of car stripped checked and renewed as required.
All new window seals plus both quarter lights.
New bearings, bushes, new shocks and coil overs. New rack new clutch assembly. Very lucky to obtain new old stock both front down pipes and rear twin exhaust pipes 18 months ago. Has 2 x new profusion boxes. Can be a little loud if to heavy on the revs.
All 3 SU carburettors rebuild/ refurbished by Burlens.
Calipers rebuilt/ refurbished by big red.
Has a new wiring loom built from scratch by Geoff Cooper (RIP)
Has 2x12v twin batteries wired in parallel ( replaced old 6v batteries wired in series) converted from positive earth to negative earth. Also alternator has replaced dynamo. Old control box emptied and now holds out of sight new headlight relays.
Headlights also has aftermarket Perspex covers fitted.
Engine, gearbox and overdrive stripped rebuilt with new parts as required.
( gearbox when warm has slight bearing noise, just trying to be honest, Does not effect operation.
Mechanical fuel pump removed and SU electric pump installed in its own cubby box in boot for easy access.
Rear axle rebuilt and a nos LSD differential sourced from a Morgan plus 8 supplier.
As can be seen car now running with pancake air filters.
I have driven car for last 3 years 3/ 4 days a week for golf.
As can be seen from interior trim far from standard.
Has driver/ passenger seats from a MG TF ( easy to fit an original pair of seats if desired, not included in sale)
Dash not wood grain Formica
Back seat I recovered myself in grey material to match the door cards I also recovered.

6 months ago I had O/ S front vertical link snap above the trunion at walking pace speed! did damage wheel arch slightly. However bodywork and mechanical work all fully repaired now as an be seen in pictures. All pictures of car taken today31st January 2025
Obviously Tax and MOT exempt.
Therefore car must be viewed and fully assessed by yourself or a mechanical friend prior to purchase. Then upon purchase car (60 years old )sold as seen with no warranty or return.
