No rust, on body or chassis.
Overview;
One of the most reliable cars on the planet, and in my opinion a truly usable, and rare, alternative to a Range Rover classic.
Completely rust free and lanoguard coated, and cavity wax filled. It is an entirely usable and practical classic, with vast amount of space, reliability and off-road capability, to go along with the incredible looks.
Exterior;
This particular car, is not by any means perfect, however, is completely rust free, the chassis is solid, with no patches or repairs. I had it fully cleaned and Lanoguard coated underneath when I first collected it.
The sills were starting to show some rust coming through, so i took it to a classic car specialist, who investigated, and then, as I had decided it was a forever car, I asked them to cut out, any tiny amount of rust, and rebuild and repair the sills, photos of which can be provided, they were painted inside and out and then filled with wax to further future-proof the car.
Paint is presentable, but not perfect, as you can see some marks around the car in the photos, and a little lacquer reaction in areas.
Quite a high spec car for the time, with electric windows all round, and central locking, everything electrical and mechanical works as it should, although the rear window heater is a little weak.
Brand new Steels, powder coated to match the grey body trim, wrapped in brand new BF Goodrich KM/ 3.
Interior;
Unfortunately let down mostly by the wrong colour seats, the interior is largely in good practical shape, but tatty round the edges. The original Toyota tool kit still resides in a cubby in the rear.
The dashboard, had oddly been cut in the centre, so I have put a very good Sony, apple car play system in place to help disguise that, and add a level of comfort.
I have driven it all over the country in the time i’ve had it, and would not hesitate to jump in and drive it anytime anywhere.
During that time it has not missed a beat, or used a drop of oil, whilst completing over 7000 miles in the last 8 months with me.
It is truly a dream to own, and had I not started a new business, I would not be selling.
