Description
Confederate Hellcat for sale.
This is an August 2004 manufactured Confederate Hellcat. 113cu. in. one of only 70 or so made I believe. Brad Pitt. Tom Cruise and David Beckham own (or owned) one of these (you can search on the internet to see pictures of them riding this bike). so you will be in good company if you buy this bike!
To my knowledge this is only one of about three the UK. but I stand to be corrected on this.
I have all the original paperwork. including the original sales invoice. all import documents. owner's manual. sales brochure. manufacturing date letter etc. and also all UK importation paperwork. a current V5 registration document (MOT certificate will be done before sale). I also have a 1-off dual seat. made by Confederate and covered with Crocodile leather. which will be included in the sale. Also tee shirt and cap.
The bike has some subtle modifications done by the present owner; all the original parts are included in the sale.
Milage - 3, 000 miles - new speedo 3 years ago I have original.
This bike was made in the Confederate factory in New Orleans before hurricane Katrina levelled it!
It has the 1850cc S&S Super Sidewinder engine (88kW (120hp) and 171Nm max torque) with 5 speed S&S gearbox. belt primary drive and dry clutch. plus very expensive cycle parts (suspension. brakes etc). and carbon fibre mudguards. tank and seat.
The exhaust gasses exit through the swing arm. a unique design feature of this bike.
It has a 240 section rear tyre. billet aluminium handlebar grips. master cylinders etc.
It has been fully serviced. and UK registration.
This bike retailed at around $60, 000 in 2004.
This is an awesome and totally unique machine. it's great fun to ride and obviously turns heads wherever it goes. Featured in 100% biker issue 231 – I can send copy to anyone interested.
The bike can be viewed near Basingstoke in Hampshire. This bike is one of three originally imported new into Germany. The owner planned to become an importer for Confederate. but couldn't get them through the German TuV approvals. so gave up and the bike sat for a few years in dry storage. He just used it very occasionally at the weekends on trade plates.
It was then imported into the UK by a colleague of the original owner who never used the bike.
This is a totally unique bike and a 1-off opportunity for someone to own in the UK.
