1989 Chrysler GS Turbo II

Hello, I am selling a 1989 Chrysler GS turbo 2 Daytona Shelby (Mopar: Chrysler in Europe and Dodge in the USA) 151100km. I am reluctantly parting with this car due to health problems. I don't have the time to take care of it, I have other cars (so no exchange) and I want to get some space back. 180hp 2. 2 turbo engine (Turbo Garrett T3) with intercooler created in partnership with Carroll Shelby. Created during the oil crisis so it's not a v8 but a 4 cylinder. the engine design is still used today with the 2. 4l turbo. 4 seater coupé style, 5 speed manual gearbox, front wheel drive, pop up headlight, 4 disc brakes, air conditioning (removed because it was the old liquid forbidden today), adjustable seat, electric rear view mirror, electric window, cruise control, and so on... very rare and quite unique car (a few on French territory but none in rallies).

The car is well maintained and runs well. Ct to be done but it will not pass because of the front tyres, so to be discussed. CT in 2022: 3 minor defects including the tyres (km: 150298) car with a little rust, but treated and does not evolve. under chassis, parts have been changed and everything is sound. dents and differences in paint (plastic / body), but the car looks good.
I have a bridge so for the sale we can lift it if necessary. modifications: momo steering wheel and hubs (original steering wheel available), stainless steel silencer, 4 wedges (track widener) mechanical: everything is ok, but there are things to do. gearbox and engine leaks. turbo ok gearbox and clutch ok brake ok the car has been tinkered with. I was able to put my nose in to improve things. RTA sold with the car and lots of info on the forums. overboost or dump problem. the car accelerates hard but cuts out when the turbo is on charge for too long, safety? you should know that this is the 1st generation OBD, with a fault reading on the dashboard. variable idle, engine step-by-step to be reviewed. available on the 2nd car.

For the person who is wondering: parts: all parts can be found in the USA (rockauto site) for a pittance. apart from specific european parts ex: headlight, rear view mirror. bodywork: I have an almost complete donor, blue, same year and practically the same km. I have an almost complete donor car, blue, same year and almost the same mileage, with a compulsory flatbed because it's not running and CG is present. the chassis is sound but the bodywork is worn. so i'm selling the 2 cars together, after discussion if you want the car to run. i have other photos if you need them, interior/ engine. if you have any questions, don't hesitate.
