Morris Minor Two Door 1970
Smoke Grey Drives Great Looks Great VGC
This is a very regrettable sale of my lovely Morris named Jack, looks great, drives great and stops great, everything works and is in fantastic condition.
I have had a good look at the many receipts that are with the car, its had lots of work over the last few years, window rubbers 2022, timing chain 2022, radiator 2022, rear differential 2021, servicing, oils etc. etc. etc. only a few miles done in the car since, the old boy who had the car obviously loved it, had everything sorted by his local garage. The last MOT ran out in January 2020. Recently Jack has been fully services with new oils in the engine, gearbox and differential, the front seats have both been refurbished with new rubber webbings and foam and are now very supportive (for a Morris) and only 68, 000 miles on the clock.
Amongst the paperwork I found documentation of an insurance claim in 2020, the insurance company wrote the car off and was purchased back by the owner, Ive had a good look to see what was damaged in the claim but cant find anything, I cant ask the previous owner as he has now passed. When i purchased the car the front bumper and radiator panel had a big v shaped dent in it, this has now all been replaced by me and now looks untouched, I am presuming this might have been the claim damage, this didn't affect the way the car drove, no chassis damage, just looked unsightly but now you cant tell if its ever had a problem. I have owned lots of Morris Minors, great car to drive and can honestly say this is probably one of my favourite cars, everything has been done, i would have no qualms about driving him (Jack) anywhere, very nippy, drives straight, lovely gearbox, quite, smooth and reliable, the brakes are even good.
