Description
Rare 1970s honda sl125. Beautiful condition. Was restored by a previous owner. When I had received it, It was previously in storage for 5 years so I replaced the battery. The intake valve was stuck so I got the head rebuilt by a mechanic and installed a original honda barrel freshly rebored to . 75 and a original honda piston . 75. I just fitted a new clutch, cleaned the oil filter, checked the oil pump and replaced the gasket. The frame is sl and the engine is cb. The Engine has been rebuilt with xl parts. I fitted a high quality aftermarket carb which works really well. The tank has been lined really well. The bike has a beautiful paint job to it and has new fork seals, brakepads etc. I could list all the things that have been done to it but it would take days. I rebuilt the engine a week ago so all it needs is breaking in/ being ridden. This bike shouldn’t have trouble for manny years to come. The bike has been fitted with tall rear shocks so it is perfect for off-roading. It is a lot taller than other sl125 which is perfect as it makes it really comfortable to ride whilst looking bigger than it is. I have a v5 for it. Mileage is unknown as it is not the original speedo for the specific bike but is an original speedo for a other sl125 The engine is year 1975. I absolutely adore this bike and I will be heartbroken to see it go. but I have been on a mission since the start of my motorbike restorations to acquire a triumph desert sled. If you want more photos, I have a video of it running, message me.
