Description
1973 MGB Roadster in Teal blue.
The previous owner of this 1973 MGB found the car in a neighbours garden and decided that he did not want to see a good car go to waste. So he spent the following three years turning the car into the smart and useable classic that it is today. Along the way he has added one or two upgrades including, Minilite-style alloy wheels, roll-over bar, Moto Lita wooden steering wheel, Porsche seats and alloy rocker box. The car also has an Ivor Searle reconditioned engine, the standard 4 speed box which includes overdrive and yes, it works! The interior and roof are both in very good condition. There is a carbon fibre-effect dashboard wrap and new seatbelts in blue, which complements the re-painted bodywork. Overall this is an attractive and very usable MGB because of all of its upgrades. Likewise, if originality is the aim, this could be transformed back very easily. A bit of a bargain, and well in time for the summer.
