This W461-generation Mercedes-Benz 240GD Wolf is a rugged and dependable modern classic ex-military 4x4, which benefits from an extensive restoration and a number of discerning usability upgrades.

• This example was originally a Denmark-delivered model, where it is reported to have served in the Danish military, before being imported to Australia, where it has been with the seller for six years.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
• This W461-era 240GD Wolf is now presented in the appealing hue of China Blue with gloss-black powder coated roof and door bars, and black plastic wheel arches and trim elements, over a body-coloured cabin featuring black vinyl upholstery and a black dashboard.
• It rides on a period-correct set of 15-inch G-Wagon five-spoke alloy wheels, finished in matte-black and fitted with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/ A tyres.
• Equipment includes headlamp protection grilles, locking front and rear differentials, rear mudflaps, a front towing coupling, a two-spoke steering wheel, a high and low range transfer box, and basic heater and ventilation controls.
• This example has been fitted with a rear roll cage fabricated by ‘Tracart’ Engineering, wheel arch bumpers, tubular metal doors to replace the original canvas items, integrated tail lights with reversing lights, inertia reel seat belts, windscreen wiper arms, new bonnet straps, front indicator protection grilles, a Built Kits jerry can holder, a pair of rear seats, and a spade mounted in the rear cabin.
• The car comes with the five original wheels and tyres, the data card, import approval documents, and two keys.
CONDITION

• Brand new full respray was carried out as part of the restoration, and the seats have been painted from military green to black.
• The extensive restoration included, but was not limited to, a full respray, the new rear roll cage installed, a new windscreen surround and glass, the interior restored, and all the upgrade parts installed.
