Up for sale it’s my outstanding Chrysler Crossfire. I looked at many before purchasing this one as it’s truly lovely and has had all the common issues these suffer from sorted. The previous owner has owned the car for 18 years and was always garaged and only used for the summer and I’ve done the same.
The car has done 56k and comes with service history. If you’re looking for a Crossfire then I’m sure you’ll know they all suffer with several faults which are common. These have all been done, these include, the RCM module has been replaced, the crank sensor, the module that causes battery drain, scuttle panel drains unblocked, centre prop shaft bearing/ carrier etc etc. The other common issue is rusty arches. With this car being garaged all its life it’s been protected and there’s no rust at all nor has it bodged over with filler (most I saw had been) hence why I jumped at this one, it’s also the cheaper Tax bracket too.
Everything works, the roof, all the electrics, the AC, still has the factory infinity stereo fitted too.
The exterior is superb, there’s no blemishes on it at all, the headlights are bright and clear, the alloys are excellent and the centre caps that normally fade are still crystal clear, the roof shows no signs of wear.
The car starts, drives and runs really well, I’d happily jump in this and drive anywhere in confidence, it’s very fast yet surprisingly good on fuel for such a big engine. The auto/ tiptronic box works as it should.
The car has only had one family owner before myself, it was bought for his wife, then changed to him, then to me. The car is fully Hpi clear, I have service books and handbooks and two sets of keys and the car still has its Chrysler dealer rev plates fitted.
Overall I think you get what you pay for with these cars, you can buy a cheaper one but by the time you’ve had all this work done you’ll spend the same. If you want one to just polish and enjoy as I have then this might be for you. I think it’s MOT is due late May. I have a few videos of it that I can send and one showing underneath which is as good as the top. I have recently put 2 new Michelin Pilot Sport tyres on it which have done maybe 500 miles. This is a very reluctant but necessary sale. I don’t think I’ll have another in this condition.
