1972 1600 Fastback with black basket weave interior and Marina Blue L54D paintwork. Nice unmolested and unrestored survivor car in daily driver condition with working heaters. Twin Solex carbs. Period Westfalia towbar. New battery fitted and car is currently in use and ready to drive away. Nearside front wing is a different shade of blue but a weekend job to wet sand it back and polish as the colour underneath is a much closer match. Very solid throughout, doors are excellent and all good underneath. Engine runs and idles nicely, gearbox selects well and brakes are all good. Comes with some nice original paperwork and lots of old invoices. Speedo and fuel gauge are currently not working and the passenger window mechanism is very stiff. Few small areas on the nearside front and rear quarters will need looking at as time goes on but nothing to detract from a jump in and go classic aircooled VW ready to use and improve.
