I’m offering for sale my original UK 1969 MGB Roadster.
It was first registered on 13th June 1969 and sold new to a Mrs. Bridgeman of Tadworth who kept the car for 9 years until May 1978 before selling it Mr. Stevenson of Wellingborough. He maintained and ran the car for the next 43 years before selling it to a friend of his son in March 2021. I bought it from him so, it has only had 4 owners in its entire life and covered only 39, 000 miles in that time.
Finished in its original colour of Mineral Blue, it benefitted from restoration work to replace rear inner arches, boots floor and other parts around 5 years ago.
It has the desirable Minilite wheels fitted and the interior is to original spec except for a lovely wooden Moto-Lita steering wheel.
It’s in very good condition and with a full lever arch file of history confirming expenditure on maintenance, MOTs and all other relevant documents.
Mechanically the car is in very good condition – the brakes are effective and pull up cleanly and straight, the clutch slave and master cylinders are new and the gear change is smooth and precise.
It has a sports exhaust fitted so makes a lovely raspy noise and pulls strongly with no smoke etc.
Its great for summer and very cheap to own and run, tax and MOT exempt and cheap insurance.
I’m only selling it because I’ve run out of garage space and need to make a bit of room.
