I’ve decided to sell my beautiful and totally cosseted Honda S2000 as its time for a change.
You will not find one in better ‘factory’ condition - if thats what you want.
As you can see, its in the right colour combination of Moonrock grey and black leather (being the facelifted version so hasnt got the two-tone seats).
The driver’s seat (a common fault on others) has had a cover on it since I have owned it so is in wonderful unblemished condition, as is the passenger seat. No signs of wear at all!
The remainder of the interior is at it was the day it left the factory with untouched Honda OEM carpet mats protecting the carpets (I have rubber mats on top of the carpet ones!).
Of course it is all about the driving experience of those increasingly rare high-performance 2-door convertible featuring Honda’s wonderful VTEC engine which functions smoothly which the magic happening around 6200rpm.
6 speed manual transmission, in an unblemished engine bay.
Factory features including air conditioning, alloy wheels and Xenon headlights but other than that, it is in the same condition it was when it left the factory - no boy racer add ons at all!
Four good original spec Bridgestone tyres on the original alloys that are virtually unmarked and certainly are unscuffed.
The paint is unblemished and benefitted from a mop and ceramic protector when I bought it in 2020.
If you are thinking of investing in an S2000 which, lets face is an appreciating asset, you will struggle to find a better one than mine.
I will include a hard top storage bag and a spare set of front disks and pads (OEM) in the sale.
Comes with two keys and 2 alarm controllers.
(Please note that I have had a private plate on the car but will be putting it back on to its original number. However, if you want to research its mot and milage history, please message me and I will tell you the private number that was on it as DVLA may not have updated their records yet, and some of the invoices will show my personal plate too.)The first owner of this car was an older chap who never took the factory OEM hard top off it (so the soft top was never used) and he kept it garaged, managing just 22000 dry miles in its first 11 years.
It was purchased from Listers Honda in Stratford and fully maintained by them.
He traded it into the same main dealer and I purchased it from them in the summer of 2020.
Whilst I have used it mainly without the hardtop, it has remained garaged and had whatever money it needed spending on it to retain its near-concourse condition. Included in the sale is the OEM tonneau cover for use when driving with the soft top down in full ‘open top’ mode.
Each year it has been on a SORN and in a dry garage between October and April, only going out in the dry so the soft top is in as-new condition - no marks, rips or dinks. Its the epitome of a ‘Sunday car’.
I have taken the milage up to 27000, only driving it in the summer when it is dry, maintaining its full main dealer service history and condition - changing oil and filter every spring (done in April 2025). Last spring it also had the differential oil, brake fluid, coolant and spark plugs changed all for genuine original Honda parts. I have every receipt for all its maintenance carried out by me.
