This is the best or one of the best Original Mk1 Mini Travelers available.
This Mini has undergone a complete nut and bolt restoration using the best available parts. I used M. machine and Heritage for all metalwork and full Newton Commercial trim for all the interior.
Fully restored to the highest possible standard keeping the car original and as period correct as possible.

I won practical classics restorer of the year with the restoration of the car in 1997.

This is an original smooth roof Surf blue factory woody which is backed up by the heritage certificate.
This Morris Mini Traveler is a very rare car in original surf blue colour as the surf blue was mainly used on Austin Countryman's but the Heritage certificate shows the Surf blue as an option in the build.
The registration number 651FRX was of particular interest in the Mini Magazine spread that covered the car as it resembles and close to the work's team "FRX" numbers.
There is a full file of receipts and a full photographic history of the restoration.

The car drives perfect with no rattles or knocks and brings a smile from everyone who sees it.
This is a heart wrenching sale of my very loved car but at 6ft2 and aching limbs I think I need a larger car to restore and show.
