1962 Ferrari 250 GTE #3207GT LHD
First presented at the 1960 Paris Motor Show, the 250GTE was Ferrari S. p. A’s first mainstream production four-seater, offering a perfect fusion of performance, luxury & practicality.
Records suggest approximately 954 GTE’s were coach built by Pininfarina S. p. A. in three series - approx. 299 first series, 356 second series & 300 series three
#3207GT is documented as the 41st Series 2 chassis & 342nd completed overall
First ordered on July 23rd 1960, due to factory production issues the chassis was ultimately completed on January 12th 1962 in Grigio Argento Italver #21256, complemented by a Pelle Rossa leather interior #VM3171
Engine no #128E- 960E/ 62, gearbox no #406E & differential no #350E
Delivered new via MG Crepaldi Automotbili S. A, Milan in 2/ 62, to a local client, Sig Luigi Macchi
Detailed chassis history from new via Marcel Massini report (incl order forms, Ferrari S. p. A correspondence, build sheet & final specification), always residing/ road registered in Continental Europe
