Capots Vintage, specialist in sports and classic vehicles in Lyon, is offering for sale a 1982 Morgan 4/ 4 Tourer: Produced in May 1982 at the famous Morgan factory in Malvern, this 4/ 4 Tourer embodies the timeless elegance and charm of the British marque. It remained on its native soil until 1994, when it was imported by the renowned French importer Jacques Savoye. It is presented in its original configuration, with red bodywork and burgundy leather interior, all with an authentic patina. Having had three owners, our car remained in the hands of its second owner for 26 years. Under the bonnet is the 96bhp Ford XR3 engine, mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. This engine is renowned for its reliability and ease of maintenance. A service was recently carried out in our workshops: replacement of the timing kit, complete overhaul of the front and rear braking systems, greasing, engine oil change with filter replacement, gearbox and axle oil change, and a complete overhaul of the wiring harness.
