2009 Jaguar XJ Sovereign. 2. 7 Diesel. X358
The car drives great and has always been serviced (except once) by the Jaguar main dealers. The last Jaguar service and MOT was a couple of weeks ago. The car has had both front struts replaced in the last couple of years, and the cam belt was done at the appropriate time. Transmission oil & filters have been changed.
Everything works as it should, with the exception of the electric rear blind.
The car is fitted with an Android/ Apple car unit which displays modern navigation, music etc. This is only held in by a magnetic mount so is easily removed it you don’t like it.
Bad points: Small chip in windscreen but it’s been there for years, Its not in the line of sight and doesn’t bother me. Tiny dent in one door near handle: hardly shows in photos. The MOT highlighted some rear suspensions boots deteriorating but I think they were being unduly harsh.
The price is set to reflect the great value that I have had from the car, and the milage. A great car. I have owned this car for 10 years now and have loved driving it. The car looks great on its 20-inch wheels and it is the only car I have owned that gets so many admiring remarks. I use this as my daily driver, and I usually get 40 mpg plus on a run and mid 30s on local journeys.
