1986 s12 turbo , very rare car in this condition . Restored by myself and needed minimal welding. Only 3 owners the second from 1987-2016 when I bought it to save runs and drives lovely.
My passion is restoring Japanese cars and I’m only selling because I have two other cars waiting to be restored so I need to release some funds plus I need the spaceI wanted a s12 from being a school boy and when I saw this being driven around by a pensioner I had to leave my contact details with him
3 years later he rang me to say it was for sale so a deal was done , he told me he bought it when it was a year old from a garage just down the road from where I now live.
I stripped it back to a bare shell and just started at one corner and made my way round repairing and replacing what was needed. the brakes have been overhauled with new pistons and seals and all lines replaced. New standard shocks alround (I had to get the rears from America)which give the correct ride ball joints and bushings where needed. The car was supplied by A&B of Newton le Willows who did their famous thing of putting a glass removable sunroof in with a wind deflector
A modern alpine Bluetooth head unit has been fitted along with a bluebird turbo steering wheel (I still have the originals) speakers have been replaced for the same size units so you can’t tell, keyless remote central locking also fitted Viewing welcome, test drive with proof of insurance welcome
