Capots Vintage, specialist in sports and classic vehicles in Lyon, offers for sale a 1959 MGA 1500 Cabriololet: Capots Vintage offers this very original MGA 1500 Cabriolet, an iconic British roadster of the 1950s. As attested by British Motor Heritage, this MGA was delivered new to the United States in April 1959 and is presented today in excellent condition, having benefited from a complete and detailed restoration. It is presented in Old English White with burgundy leather interior, and features four spoked wheels also painted in burgundy, giving it this original look. Under the bonnet is a 1, 489cc, 68bhp engine mated to a 4-speed gearbox. Completely rebuilt both mechanically and aesthetically, the bodywork was removed for repainting and the chassis treated with epoxy paint. Numerous body components have been replaced with new ones. The burgundy leather interior, engine, gearbox, running gear and braking system were completely rebuilt, making the car much more reliable. We have a large file of invoices and photos attesting to the work carried out. Delivered with its burgundy alpaca soft top and tonneau cover. Possible trade-in for your sports car or collector's car.
