This is a very rare version: the BN1 model with a 4-cylinder engine, sporting the superb Healey Blue colour combined with elegant navy blue upholstery. Donald Healey christened it 'Hundred' in reference to its ability to reach speeds of 100 miles per hour, a remarkable feat for its time, just behind the Jaguar XK120 but ahead of MG and Triumph. Delivered new in July 1955 in Yokohama, Japan, as confirmed by its British Motor Heritage certificate, this Austin Healey has benefited from a complete restoration by a specialist. Everything is in exceptional condition: underpinnings, bodywork, mechanics, running gear, upholstery... Every detail has been meticulously and tastefully restored. In addition, this car is 'matching numbers' for the body and engine, and has been modernised with improvements such as a 4-speed gearbox with overdrive, electronic ignition, high-performance starter and alternator.
It also comes with all its equipment: soft top, tonneau cover and side-screens (rare on these models). Finally, the car has just undergone a complete overhaul in our workshops.
