Description
MGB Roadster rolling bodyshell/ restoration
This donor MGB Roadster bodyshell was destined to be used for a restoration, but instead it has been dry stored in a garage for over 20 years. There’s no V5C (logbook) because it was originally purchased as a donor shell. However, it is a rolling shell with all of the brakes, suspension, rear axle and steering fitted, so it can be moved around on its full set of wire wheels.
This sale includes a couple of stripped down doors with the glass, quarterlights and regulator mechanisms (window winders). There’s also a windscreen, a bonnet, a dual-circuit brake master cylinder with servo, radiator and several heater assembly components. There are no front wings.
The overall condition of the bodyshell is structurally sound, especially in the typical rot-spots, such as the sills, footwells, floors, rear arches, A-posts and the boot area. There’s nothing much that’s hidden, so it’s straightforward to inspect and make up your own mind.
Stored a few minutes from junction 27 of the M62 (where it meets the M621). If you want to know more, please call Rob on the number shown above.
