Mini Cooper s 2002 r53
Very clean example of the first release of the mark 2 Mini Cooper s.
1 owner from new. 3 keys (one of the keys is missing the mini emblem face but still operates).
This car was actually the 5th one sold off of the scotthall BMW branch at Southampton it comes with an extensive folder filled with receipts, mot certificates, the manual and original receipt of purchase.
It’s the r53 Mini Cooper s which boasts a generous 163 bhp coming from the 4 cylinder 16v 1. 6 supercharged petrol engine, very fast and very responsive to drive. 6 gears.
The current mileage is a meagre 51, 858 miles it’s just passed its mot but could do with having the tires changed as they’re quite old, I didn’t want to put part worn or budget tyres on for the sale as I imagine the new owner would like to put top of the range tyres on and the fitment is 225 45 r17.
Rare colour way being black roof and chilli mini red.
No lights on the dash and everything is working lovely. It was off the road for 2 years due to it being owned by my grandmother who doesn’t really drive any more and needed a higher car to be able to get in to.
Wonderful car and needs to be owned by somebody who will appreciate it as it has never wanted for anything in its life.
12 months mot.
Have tried to include pictures that highlight the small imperfections ie the alloys, the paint on the boot handle, missing gearstick shift pattern sticker (£15 on eBay for a new one) and a scratch on the bumper.
The last mot did mention that the offside front coil spring mounting corroded but not seriously weakened.
I have only vacuumed and lightly washed it would benefit from a full detailing and thorough clean.
