Description
The VIN plate says this car is Kingfisher Blue yet the V5 says its green!
A car that has remarkably no rot to speak of either to bodywork or underside. The interior is in extremely good condition with no rips or tears to a full leather interior. The headlining is immaculate!
Has had extensive recommissioning to gain an MOT to October 2025 with only 2 minor advisories. I have 2 keys, all manuals and detailed history up to 80506 miles. The first 61870 miles were Jaguar Main Dealer then Jaguar specialist to 80506 in 2001.
The car seems to have been used sparingly after that with an average annual mileage of only 1000 miles.
I decided to get this car back to as good a condition as was reasonable given its condition when I bought it.
Recent work includes;
New discs and pads all round plus replace handbrake mechanism
Clean and rebuild diff/ rear axle including new fluids
Full engine service inc. 12 new plugs and 2 air filters + retune
Coolant system flushed and refilled
Gearbox fluids changed plus new filter
Renewed upper front shock bushes
Replaced throttle potentiometer
Replaced air admittance valve
Replaced air temp sensor
New battery
Minor repair to drivers seat
Correction to various electrical niggles
Refurbished all wheels plus new centre caps
4 x new tyres
Its by no means concourse, but it is very tidy and a readily usable classic that may only increase in value over time if cared for.
I no longer have space to store the car inside as I have now acquired a new project that will take up my time and garage space. This car is unique in that it has no rot/ rust problems. It pulls strongly, sounds great and stops well too now that the brakes have been done.
