Description
MGB Roadster 1971. Lovely chrome bumper model in BRG with chrome wire wheels. 1798cc engine. Fitted with overdrive. Stainless steel exhaust. Black leather upholstery. Anti-theft isolator. New carpets when I got it - still vgc.
First Registered 15-07-1971. I have owned this car since 2011 and in its 53+ years it has only had 3 former owners. Bought with 7984 miles on the clock and now has 11610 (NOT A MISPRINT !)
MOT exempt due to its historic status and zero rated historic car road fund licence. Also ULEZ exempt. These benefits, combined with low cost classic car insurance mean this lovely MGB is cheap to own and use.
I had been searching for a B of this quality for ages and seen a lot that were "O. K. but not brilliant". Finally tracked this one down through word of mouth.
Drives well , sounds wonderful. Only selling as 2 replacement knees mean entry and exit now a bit difficult.
Car is not concours, but is in really good condition. Anything that needed doing has been done. One for enjoying. I have never been out in the rain in it. Only had the hood up once in 13 years and that was when it rained at a classic car event at Silverstone! Always stored indoors. 1st registered 15 July 1971
I bought vehicle 5 October 2011
Three previous owners, the last of which acquired it 20 JULY 2005
