I bought this recently as a stop-gap car whilst my Volvo was being repaired, I fully serviced it, it has full service history - it has had top quality, oil, oil filter, air and pollen filters in the last few days.
The car was new as a Renault Management car and then a lady owner had it for the last 20+ years and always kept it garaged, hence the superb condition, I went all the way to Devon to collect the car. I have full V5 in my name. low low miles of 81500, this will not rise as the car is not in use now.
This is the last of the line Mk1 Meganes and this is the top of the range Privilege plus models, it has an electric tilt-slide sunroof, half leather seats, 6 stack boot CD player and remote control stalk for the radio.
I have driven it nearly 1000 miles and it hasnt missed a beat, has just had a Cataclean treatment to clear the fuel and exhaust system and it drives superbly. there is no rust and there are no noticeable scrapes or dents that i can see and it looks superb, you would struggle to find a better one.
Full book pack with full service history, radio code and all manuals, 2 working remote keys and i have just fitted a genuine Renault boot liner tray that i managed to find in Austria, this was over £100 in itself.
All mot advisories have been done and it has new front discs and pads, a new wheel bearing and the support bar has been painted to stop corrosion. I will put a full MOT on it at the asking price.
This car truly is a Gem, good tyres all round, nice alloys, full steel spare and all the original wheel changing tools. super clean interior and exterior in a nice colour, this will be an ideal collector car, great daily driver or a brilliant second car. lower tax at £190 per year and eligible for classic insurance now. I have averaged 60 miles per gallon on my runs to work and back - 25 mile A and B roads.

i have my other car and really have no need for this car now so its a waste just sitting there.
If you like retro -Renaults and all the comfort the bring, this is the car for you, not to be missed as I doubt you would ever find another diesel Megane as nice as this. A stop gap car for mebut very nice condition, was owned by Renault UK, was then owned by a lady that had it for 20 plus years and garaged all the time. I haven’t had it long and I bought it to use whilst repairing my Volvo. That is done and now not needed. Too nice for me to use as a daily hack really.
