Description
1993 Toyota Celica GT4 Carlos Sainz Limited Edition No: 2714 of 5000 Worldwide, one of 440 U. K. specification models.
MOT expired in Nov 24.
Service book stamped until 2002, then there is a break in the history between 2002 - 2011, but all invoices & service docs are present from 2011 onwards.
I have owned this car since 2018 as a running project, with no rust, but requiring some minor bodywork (dents) on the passenger side, and could do with a respray as the paintwork has faded, as the red ones usually do. That said, the car polishes up ok.
The previous owner had spent around £14k on the car in his ownership but had a terrible after market ECU fitted which I wanted to replace with an original Carlos Sainz ECU to take it back to standard, unfortunately I could not find one, unsurprisingly due to the rarity of the car.
So I had a Link ECU fitted, and unfortunately this doesn’t appear to be working properly either. The car runs and drives but will need the ECU setting up properly.
I have spent approximately £6k on her on my ownership.
The car is way too good to break, but would make thousands if I did. It needs someone who knows these cars to get her where she needs to be.
An arm injury forces the sale as I can no longer drive the car to get the work done that it needs, so with a heavy heart I need to let her go to a new home.
Open to sensible offers.
