Originally exported to New Zealand, this vehicle was dry-stored for over 40 years. Rediscovered and repatriated to the UK by the owner of Motor Legends, it underwent a full bare-metal respray and restoration in 2020.

Motor Legends has equipped this car with their revolutionary six-speed automatic gearbox conversion, as highlighted in the Jaguar World feature. The original 5. 3L V12 engine is superbly tuned, producing slightly above factory horsepower at 274. 7 bhp (dyno tested). Aesthetic Enhancements:
The car features Gunmetal Grey Aston Martin DB6 wire wheels, subtly wider than standard for a sportier stance while maintaining the car’s vintage elegance. The E Type is also fitted with Lotus Elan rear lights, the same units as fitted by Jaguar but incorporate the reversing lights for an aesthetically cleaner look.
