Purchased for personal use in 2021 and £30k+ spent with Guy Broad and Twyford Moors (both well known XK specialists) to get the car working reliably and running as it should.

Runs and drives great, successfully finished a road rallye in Austria up and down the mountains (up to an elevation of 2750m) without missing a beat. Great oil pressure, comfortable and very pleasent to drive.
Will be MOT'd and newly serviced before sale. Beatiful car but not concours and might benefit from cosmetic work in the future. Ideal for national/ international touring and great fun to drive.

'Sir Henry Elwes the ex Lord Lieutenant of Gloucestershire who was also knighted in the 2009 Queen's Birthday Honor's list was appointed Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order for his services in political and public services acquired the XK120 on the 2nd January 1969 and was the custodian of the Jaguar for some 43 years ! Sir Henry was also a "Gold Badge Holder" of the Jaguar Drivers Club which is only issued to a select few who have held membership of the club for 50 years!'
