Description
We are offering for sale two Daimler DE36 Landaulettes by Hooper & Co, both equipped with an straight 8-cylinder engine. Both vehicles have a very special and fascinating history, connected to the British Royal Family. According to information from the Daimler and Lanchester Owners' Club, only 13 known Landaulettes exist, and all were built by Hooper & Co. (British coachbuilding).
Both cars are incomplete, but there are many parts not visible in the pictures. The cars are located in Hungary. They will be sold with an invoice and purchase contract.
The price for both cars together is €49, 000 (brutto).

"The Royal Family after WW II made a couple of tours overseas. Two are famously related to Daimler: the Royal Tour to South Africa in 1947 and the Royal Tour to Australia and New Zealand in 1953/ 54. For these tours a number of DE-Daimlers were used, which were shipped well before the tour and which after the tour partly stayed in the country visited. Below is an overview as what happened to these cars."
