Description
Welcome to the sale of my E36 323i fast road/ track car. I have owned this car since March of 2022 and it’s been an absolute pleasure however I have bought a new car so this will have to go.
This car has been good as gold for me, with next to no issues in the two and half years I’ve owned it. Being a tintop (non-sunroof) coupe in Individual Orientblau it’s quite a rare spec and a lovely thing to look at.
The spec goes as follows:
ABS Motorsport fibreglass STW splitter
Custom headlight intake (still passes MOT)
R53 Cooper S electric fan conversion
2. 8 engine swap
M50 manifold conversion
Pink injectors
Induction kit
2. 5” stainless decat exhaust with two small resonators and a backbox (haven’t heard another sound quite as good as this, not raspy and plenty of noise. Still passes Goodwood noise test at 91dB with baffles in)
Cobra Monaco “Players” Limited edition bucket seats (could only buy at the show)
HSD Monopro coilovers
Powerflex purple front LCA bushes
Powerflex adjustable rear camber arms
E46 330 brake conversion front and rear with Brembo discs and Ferodo DS2500 pads with RBF660 brake fluid.
3. 15 LSD
17x8. 5” TSW Imolas with Zestino Gredge 07R medium compound tyres
Condor speedshop power steering delete
A/ C delete
Purple tag short ratio steering rack
Lightweight flywheel
The car has always been serviced meticulously either every year or every 6000 miles, depends which came first. It has fresh diff and gearbox oil this year as well as a new fuel filter and new front LCAs. It also had a front left hub bearing done. It’s also had a new top and bottom rad hose as well as a second hand OEM BMW radiator and expansion tank. It has also just had a full front end respray which has come out really nice. It has an MOT until May 2025 and a very clean history.
Like any 27 year old car it has its gripes, they are as follows. There’s a rust patch on the rear left quarter and on the seal of the windscreen as you can see in the pictures. Not huge but would need addressing if you want a pristine car. There are small age related marks around the rear of the car, to be expected of a car of this age with this mileage. The wheels are not in the best condition. It could do with a rear left hub bearing as it was an advisory on the last MOT, I have the part but haven’t got round to doing it. It also needs a top mount on that same corner as it rattles. The door card material is sagging like any E36 unfortunately. Rear lip has faded quite a lot. The car could also benefit from a map as runs quite rich, I don’t think the pink injectors were scaled in correctly.
I’ve tried to be as honest as I can in this ad but this car does not disappoint on the road, it’s a ready to go track car but it’s just as enjoyable on b roads. I have dailied it since May until now and I’ve had no issues at all. The car is priced at £4250 but I am open to sensible offers, this car is already a bargain with the spec it has.
Thanks. A fantastic fast road/ track car, plenty of potential to make pristine or can easily be used now for the upcoming track season.
2. 8 swapped with bread and butter upgrades made to create a very well balanced, reliable and fast platform.
