Description
One of the few surviving Formula Junior (now Formula 3) DKWs with a 1. 0-litre engine from the 3=6 DKW. The formula was a development for up-and-coming Formula 1 drivers and was intended to enable the drivers to prove their competitiveness and talent with a manageable budget. The cars raced on the major GP circuits throughout Europe and also partly in the USA. Prominent drivers raced here who later celebrated their successes in Formula 1. The DKWs were quite successful, not least because of their unusual front-wheel drive and high-revving 2-stroke engines. Even today there are several events where these cars are driven on the glorious tracks and raced at racing speed. A great hobby for the real racing driver of classic cars. Here at a manageable purchase price and the running costs have also remained manageable and entitle you to real formula racing.
