Description
The Saab 9000 was designed as part of the type four platform in conjunction with Italian car automaker Fiat. The 9000 was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and Saab's in-house designer Bjorn Envall.
The Saab 9000 CS Aero was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October 1992. It is powered by the Legendary B234 2. 3 litre engine developing 225 bhp and was the fastest Saab to date courtesy of the larger Mitsubishi TD04 turbocharger. The Aeros in gear acceleration was strongly emphasised and period advertising boasts "the 5-speeed Saab 9000 Aero will streak from 50-70 mph faster than a Ferrari Testarossa or a Porsche Carrerra 4!
The Aero was discontinued in 1997 and the 9000 finished production in 1998.

Mine is a 1995 model in excellent condition and the best colour combination, silver with rocky black leather. The car has low ownership despite the fact that the very first owner (a member of the RAF) had to sell the car after two weeks back to Yeovil Saab as he was dispatched to Iraq! I have a folder full of service history/ old Mots. She drives extremely well having had a full service including timing chain replacement. Everything works as it should except the heater blower.
Getting very rare nowadays, especially in this condition and gets admired whenever I go out. Only selling due to a change in circumstances. Recent Yuasa battery, two remote keys Mot until November 2025. Weekend viewing only. Thanks for reading.
