For sale is my 1997 Fiat Cinquecento Sporting with only 49, 000 miles in amazing condition and likely one of the nicest examples in the UK.

Having owned a few Seicento and Cinquecento Sportings in the past few years - this has to be one of the nicest.
Being a Sporting, it’s the most desirable trim offered on the Cinquecento. Many were abused and considered disposable, however this Broom Yellow example has clearly been looked after and this is reflected in the low mileage: you will struggle to find a more original and tidy Sporting.
The Cinquecento originally sold through Riviera Fiat Middlesex in April 1997 where it changed hands a few times before a long term owner from 2004-2021. It was then purchased by a keen enthusiast who recomissoned the car lovingly. I have since gone through the car and improved what was already an excellent example. It's now presented to a great standard and it’s now ideal for daily road use, car shows or even just an appreciating investment.
This Cinquecento drives excellently, the SPI F. I. R. E engine is reliable and very good fun. Plus, with a new timing belt, water pump and coolant flush at 48, 500 miles it doesn’t require any work. As well as the clutch (replaced in 2021), gearbox and suspension which all feel great and align with the low mileage.
All the common corrosion areas are totally rust-free and It has also never been welded and is likely one of the most solid in the UK.
Underneath, many new parts have been fitted to the Sporting including new rear bottom arms, rear shock absorbers and a new exhaust from the mid pipe backwards. The same can be said for the suspension as it was all replaced with slightly lower coil springs all round. This helps greatly with the way the car handles.
The car has a fresh MOT until January 2026 with no advisories, along with 4 good Nankang tyres and recent brake discs and pads as well as the aforementioned engine work.
Condition wise, it is very close to time warp with a near immaculate interior and exterior. It has been fully detailed inside and out including an underside decontamination and Lanogaurd treatment to preserve the rust-free chassis.
All 4 wheels have also been recently refurbished.
It still retains many original features such as the Riviera Fiat dealer plates, Panasonic RC cassette player, 3 original Fiat keys (including red master key) with matching dealer keyrings and a book pack along with a good amount of paperwork and service history.
It is now ready for a new home where it will be cherished for years to come.
