Here is my beautiful fully rebuilt Type 19 Golf GTI 8V. I spent a long time looking for the right car, it had to be completely solid and original but as a base car to do a complete bare metal restoration, eventually I found this Beauty it was totally solid and straight apart from a small amount of corrosion on the back arches, and a blown engine it was perfect for what I needed. I stripped the car down to a bare shell repaired the rear arches I am a fabricator by trade, I then removed all the under seal from the entire car inside and out to check for condition, the car was then re sealed and the underside has then been sprayed in raptor colour coded to the exterior. Every underneath has been powder coated or replaced with new including all the brake lines fuel lines hoses etc etc. The whole car then had a fresh coat of original white paint inside and out. Bumpers and arch trims have been reconditioned and look like new, as have the badges stickers seals etc. The engine has had a full rebuild and has done around 50 miles since just going to a couple of local classic meets, The gearbox was reconditioned by gas n gears including a limited slip differential. Everything where possible has been powdercoated and all parts in engine bay have been vapour blasted to return them to as new. It has all new brake callipers, pads and discs. New brake lines. Upgraded 9" servo with new master cylinder. New rear brake balance valve on axle. Full stainless exhaust. coilovers etc, The wheels are 16" bbs Splitrims fully rebuilt with brand new 195 40 16 tyres. The interior is in amazing condition and has been fully valeted, and I have fitted a brand new headliner in her. She really is immaculate and I put my heart and soul into the car, I built her for me but after some deliberation I have decided to sell and put the money towards restoring my Golf Rallye that I have had for the last 20 years.
You will really struggle to find a better type 19.
I am advertising this for my friend who does not use the internet, I am happy to answer any questions you might have, if you want to view the car the owner will be there, it is been stored in a very large light indoor unit and no test drives will be done in wet conditions.
