Description
1995 N plated Celica GT4 ST205, Currently showing 154, 000 miles, It was imported in 2007 with 96, 324 kilometres (shown on the first MOT in 2007, I then pressume the speedo was converted into miles after that as every other MOT reads in miles, It was on a private plate when i purchased it, It is now back on the original, I have print outs of all MOT history on both plates. It has had 6 previous owners. Most of that info above is irrelevant, As over the last year under my ownership it has gone through a complete restoration! Having a small fortune spent on rebuilding/ replacing/ restoring everything! Plus the previous owner had the engine replaced (ringland failure on cylinder 3, common when running to much boost on the stock engine, I have old dyno charts plus an invoice from the garage that carried out the fault finding), The replacement engine was purchased early 2019 with a receipt from a well known company, And also marked as having only 76, 000 kilometres on it (i have the invoice), The engine was fitted in September 2019, Then the owner went back to his home country the middle of January 2020, So it was hardly used, The car has just been stored since January 2020! Having replaced various service items on the engine and having various things cleaned etc, It is a thick wall block late engine, Plus the condition of the valves etc really confirms the mileage, Plus i carried out the relevant compression & leak down tests before purchase.
For the record, I specialise in these vehicles, 1990s Toyota celica's & MR2s, And i have run my own business for over 10 years, Been around the vehicles for 25 years, I know then inside out!
So upon purchase the engine was removed and the whole of the running gear and everything underneath was removed, The complete floor pan plus wheel arches where taken to bare metal (surprisingly no welding required!) Which was then rust treated and coated with 2k epoxy primer, It then had around 8 coats of white raptor liner apllied. Everything drive train related was blasted/ zinc primer/ powder coated, Anything else taken to bare metal/ 2k primed/ tough black painted, Every single bush/ mount (except the engine mounts) Where replaced with new poly items, Fuel tank refurbished with a new Fuel pump hanger bracket (running a walbro pump), All new seals/ bolts for the bracket plus the filler neck/ breather/ level sender etc, All mounting straps refurbished. All the brakes refurbished, All calipers rebuilt pistons/ seals/ painted/ graphics, New Toyota discs and yellow stuff pads, All new pins/ secutring clips etc. Handbrake shoes plus all the correct mounting springs etc purchased from Toyota are fitted (the cheap after market kits are terrible!). Rear diff was great condition and leak free but still went through the same clean up process, Rear drive shafts rebuilt, The propshaft had 2 new Genuine Toyota support brackets (now discontinued), All wheel hubs went down to bare metal, Powdercoated etc (a couple of new spherical bearings on the rear where needed, And all new wheel bearings fitted. Everything removed from the engine bay, The bay painted, and everything removed was refurbished before refitting. The car has BC coilovers which had new springs & adjusters etc and all checked over and set up correctly. I have a receipt in the paperwork for gearbox work carried out, And it shifts etc perfectly with no crunching, The gearbox was cleaned/ painted/ some parts poder coated. It has a brakd new Toyota clutch kit fitted, I also replaced the rear crankshaft seal, Front crankshaft seal, 2 x camshaft seals, Oil pump shaft seal, And rear oil pump cord seal, Oil cooler seals, 2 x new hoses from hell (oil cooler hoses), A new Cambelt/ waterpump/ 2 x idler bearings/ hydraulic tensioner, Everything was Toyota parts. Both intake and exhaust manifolds where removed, When refitted had new Toyota gaskets, Various items vapour blasted and powder coated etc, Camshaft cover(rocker cover) powder coated and refitted with new seals etc. New power steering pipework and correct washers, New power steering cap, New radiator cap, Toyota forlife coolant in main system plus chargecooler, Full set of Stoney Racing hoses everywhere, Both the radiator plus charge cooler radiators are like new, Charge cooler pump is perfect, Wheels are perfect with brand new Falken tyres. A new windscreen plus Toyota seal has been fitted. I think i am running out of room in the description!! The cars is better than brand new! You WILL NOT find a better one in the UK! I know, As i have worked on hundreds of them! I welcome any viewings, I have every single receipt for what i have spent on it, Plus i have a lot of older history, I also have a folder of close to 400 pictures and maybe 10 videos of the restoration, On my business page, I can link anyone interested to this, But really you need to view to appreciate the condition/ work carried out. There is probly loads i have missed out! Please no time wasters or Facebook experts, It will not be toleratedThe car is better than brand new, Please come and view. The car also had a overhauled distributor, Fuel injectors flow tested/ cleaned and refitted with all new seals, The only mods the car has are, BC coilovers, Wheels, HKS bov, Beatrush front strut brace, It also has a GFB G-Force electronic boost controller, Only run at low boost since the replacement engine was fitted (checked the peak), Plus it was only used for around 2 months before it was stored long term.
