Description
Porsche 912 | 3-Dial | 1966 | LHD | Matching Numbers
The 3 dial 912 is considered a rarer model, made only in 1965 and 1966, which makes it more collectable and desirable.
Being left hand drive makes this 912 an excellent investment from a collector's standpoint. Left-hand drive is the global standard, which significantly enhances its desirability for international buyers and ensures greater resale potential in the worldwide classic car market, not just in the UK.
This car has matching numbers, verified by Porsche themselves. It even comes with an official letter from Porsche confirming its authenticity, which adds significantly to its value as a collector’s car.
I bought this beauty from Rindt Design about a year ago for £48, 000 and have since spent over £20, 000 bringing it up to its best.
I had the car professionally repainted, including underneath, and the front boot area, see pictures.
There’s absolutely no rust anywhere on the car.
I have completely refurbished the dash, fitted USB functionality, and added a soundbar under the dash (you can’t see it). The steering wheel was refurbished with a new center cap.
I had the windows lightly tinted.
Window seals all the way around in perfect condition.
The carpets and seats are in great condition, excellent.
The car drives solid and smooth.
Brand-new Webber carburetors, perfectly tuned with the correct jets.
Brand new Distributor.
I had the engine fully rebuilt by Pie Performance, a highly reputable Porsche specialist, and fitted a new clutch at the same time. I’m still running in the engine, and after 500 miles, service again and re-tune the engine/ carburetors.
This is simply one of the best 912s out there, but not just what you see and also what you don’t see!
The price is firm, so please don’t message me unless you’re serious and have the cash. I’m not looking for part exchanges unless it’s for a 911E or 911S.
Thanks for looking!
