It is with a heavy heart that we are selling our much loved Mini, Dot. After 10 years of loyal service, the time has come to bid farewell to our beloved Mini Cooper. She has covered 51k miles with a new gearbox, sills & brake discs fitted in the last 18 months. Our minis are probably the best maintained classic car fleet in the world so we have a huge file of £30k+ of invoices for her, she is a reliable, straight and honest driveable everyday classic, guaranteed to put a smile on everyone’s face. Why are we selling?
She has taken 1000s of visitors around London over the last 10 years. smallcarBIGCITY provide bespoke sightseeing experiences for distinguished travellers. She has wowed everyone from tourists to celebrities, YouTubers to Instagram influencers! These cars are in such high demand in the city that our little business has grown over the last decade, from one car and one driver to 10 cars and 30 drivers. We buy cars at roughly 25k miles and sell them when they are roughly at 50k so it it her time to leave the big smoke behind and retire from the fleet.
The Car
In our business breaking down is simply not an option, therefore we run possibly the most comprehensively maintained fleet of classic cars in the world. We have upgraded many parts to the highest specification, and the car is checked weekly and serviced bi-annually. In short - this is possibly the most reliable classic Mini you will find for sale anywhere. We 'life' parts just as you would on a plane, replace all hoses with higher quality silicone hoses, added secondary earth straps for improved charging, upgraded alternators and batteries, add magnets to the sump to collect any fragments circulating in the oil etc. Over the last ten years of driving and restoring these cars, we have revised and improved all of the usual failings of the original design for maximum reliability.
